SNAPE/SMOTT PE
Wait, what?
Me too, we are trying to decide where to go eat, and if we will make reservations at the mgm elegante for their thanksgiving feast.
I do not know. My wife carpet cleaned it when we moved in and the water in the carpet cleaner was disgusting. Still not good.Wtf why?
Why bother? As soon as you moved in the carpet should have been pulled up immediately and the floor replaced with something with safe to walk on. Even cheap linoleum would have been a sanitary and aesthetic improvement.I do not know. My wife carpet cleaned it when we moved in and the water in the carpet cleaner was disgusting. Still not good.
This!!!Carpets in bathrooms and locker rooms are really really bad.
You go Girl! Wohoooooooooooooooo! So I'm at a conference rn. And this woman gave a presentation about maximizing your career potential so now im all in my head about my goals and how to achieve them. Sometimes, being in a satellite office of a regional office of HQ is a little limiting. My goals are almost exclusively increasing my technical proficiency and I'm the most senior engineer in my office. The most senior/knowledgable engineer in the RO is a very busy PM so i cant lean on him. And in the new year, Ill finally FINALLY get to go to HQ and learn one of the skills im lacking (HQ guys came out and i asked for the chance and explained why and they agree). So im going to try to leverage that trip as much as possible to learn everything i can and network more (&meet the folks i lean on for questions). But year, 8.25 years here and its maybe coming together?
I second. Why bother? As soon as you moved in the carpet should have been pulled up immediately and the floor replaced with something with safe to walk on. Even cheap linoleum would have been a sanitary and aesthetic improvement.
BTW, I'm a former health inspector. Carpets in bathrooms and locker rooms are really really bad.
I'm curious, RB, what else have you done?BTW, I'm a former health inspector. Carpets in bathrooms and locker rooms are really really bad.
Not really a whole lot. I worked at Target for a while and was a TA in college and a Research Assistant in grad school. I've known that I wanted to be engineer since I was in middle school, so there wasn't a whole lot of working at other, unrelated jobs.Same with all of you? Like what jobs have you had before you were an engineer
