I have a question regarding the Texas State Board licensing rule for non-accredited degrees.  We have an engineering designer working at our firm, who has a master’s degree in architecture from the University of Texas at San Antonio, and has been performing design work under the supervision of a licensed engineer for approximately 8 years.  Does the architectural degree qualify as a “related science degree” under Section 1001.302(a)(1)(B)?  Is this person eligible to pursue a P.E. license?  BTW, I've contacted the state board, but am waiting on a response.  Would appreciate any input, if someone had a similar situation.  Thanks!
