The linked article in the Bowling Green news said it happened at 11:30 at night and they left a bar/billiard parlor.  I think the cops were waiting for them as they left.  It only takes a couple of seconds to wind a new vette up to 100+

Yeah I would be surprised if they weren't fired.  I have a friend that works at a Chrysler proving ground and they take this stuff pretty seriously.  He had to report to them when he got a speeding ticket for 80 in a 70 mph zone in his personal car on a freeway on his own personal time.

I really think it was. Or at least it was predatory.  I suspect the guys will get axed.  Tough break for them.
