I'm brand new to this board. Can anyone tell me more about the general exam format? I've found conflicting and outdated info and need some things cleared up.

1. Is there any difference between the types of questions in the morning and the afternoon?

2. Does anyone have a link to the current % breakdowns of topics, morning and afternoon if applicable?

Thanks

The answers to your questions can mostly be found on the NCEES website itself. Check on the right and you can dowload the exam specifications for the environmental exam - that will tell you what types of questions you will get in the am vs. pm (the only difference is the topics covered - they are not broken into "breadth" and "depth" like the civil exam)

Otherwise, read through the threads here, especially the "Advice...." thread (which I wish would just get stickied to the top of this this subforum to save the trouble of always looking for it)

Oops - the NCEES exam specs don't say which are morning and which are afternoon. You get Water and Air in the morning, and then Haz/Solid waste and environmental assesments/safety/etc. in the afternoon.

Get the NCEES sample exam for the best representation of what the real exam will be like.

Just what I needed...thanks!
