The question:
enter image description here
The answer:
enter image description here
However, I think the answer is wrong, it should be:
Vi = Vt + Id*Xd = 1+ 0.97*1.1j = 1.46 pu
So, the voltage is 1.46 * 250 kV = 365.6 kV
Do you agree?

ye the answer should be :Vi = Vt + Id*Xd = 1+ 0.97*1.1j = 1.46 pu
So, the voltage is 1.46 * 250 kV = 365.6 kV
there can be mistake in solution manual.

From my end, this how we get the answer :
Vi = Vt + Id*Xd
= 1+ 0.97*
1.1j
= 1.46 pu
Hence, the voltage is :
1.46 * 250 kV
= 365.6 kV
that is and mark that there can be mistakes always in the answer manual.
