Coors pays very well but I don't think the other breweries pay all that well from what I hear.

I don't have any (oil and has) contacts there but I had lunch with one of the commissioners for Weld County (where most of CO's O&G) is and she said they are defin seeing a resurgence in that industry -

I believe the job market here is good for the overall engineering / construction industry - but it's no joke the housing starts around $450K

I got the offer letter from my previous employer for a Sr. Engineer position with a slight raise.  So less responsibility and headaches for more money.  Actually being in a good company as a manager would be less headaches than anything in a dysfunctional company.

I start on Monday.  Going through benefits, the difference in insurance alone is a 10K bump in cash plus free life insurance.  It is nice to work for a real company that is run like a business.
