If you get a FAIL result, is there any way to see your test/dispute it?

I only guessed on 5 or 6 total for the day and got answers for the rest (which I felt pretty good on), I even worked a few with an intentional unit conversion mistake to see if I could get a wrong answer that was also an answer choice lol, I was so paranoid.

I got to check my scantron answer sheet with my test booklet in the afternoon and everything matched up...I didn't for the morning session and now am mostly worried about my scantron and test booklet answers not matching for that session.

Basically, I would be pretty surprised if I failed..but there's still that chance and it festers in the back of my mind which makes me post on engineering boards ha!

Prior to release the Roster on TBPE will get a lot of new PE entries all from TX... Then, I will know the results are in. They updated this morning, but most from out of State.

I'm not sure NCEES would adjust your answers if say you skipped a question but filled the rest of the answers starting with that skipped question. I think it's the test takers responsibility to be sure the answers are filled in in the correct line and that the answer sheet and booklet match one another in terms of discipline.

I know it's reallllly easy to start questioning those things, but I think you're okay. I'm sure you would have realized in the afternoon if someone was off.

Do you think the states can change the cut score results or they have to submit it as it is
As I understand it, each state can set it's own pass score. But nearly all use the recommended score from NCEES. It makes transferring licences a lot easier if everyone is using the same cut score.

With that said, I believe Georgia and Alabama(?) give extra points to disabled veterans towards their scores. For the purposes of this discussion though, assume that everyone uses the same cut score for the appropriate test.

You can request a manual grading of the scantron sheet for $75(?). But manual scoring won't help you if you filled in the wrong bubbles. FWIW, no-one has ever had their score changed after having their test sheet manually scored.

Im a little worried as I actually punctured the first bubble in the afternoon portion of the exam. It was small, but I freaked out and decided not to worry about it then and just go through the exam. Hopefully all is well. I don't know what a punctured bubble would do to the actual checking of the scantron, but I still worry.

Really this isn't just anxiety about failing, it's anxiety about having to tell people I failed, study for months again, take it again, and then wait forever again with the possibility of not passing AGAIN.

That's why it's too hard to just tell myself to calm down!

That's doesn't sound like something you should be worried about.

Now whether or not your pencil used the correct #2 lead is a different thing altogether.

UGHHH I totally know what you mean!  Like all of my coworkers know I took it now, it will be embarrassing to tell them that I've failed (though life goes on)...

Not sure about you, but there isn't a ton of design work in my department to begin with. I'm hoping that with a PE, I will be able to get my hands on some more design work.

This is exactly what's making me literally sick to my stomach... the thought of having to go through this AGAIN if I fail...

I don't mind the telling people, but the idea of months of studying, missing out on family time and going through the test again is too much for me to wrap my head around right now.

Good to know. And, uhhhhh it better have had the correct lead in it. I used what they gave me. :) Sounds like you know or experienced an issue with the lead. That would suck!
