with me is the old pen plotter which do not have a power supply and therefore am thinking of building one. The strange thing is that it requires 9.7 v and 31 v DC power supply. Provided that the system does not use the dual supply in the normal sense of equal +-, am wondering if thee is other information that i should ne knowing in identifying the design. As we have both positive input voltages i wonder if i should just step down the out of 32v that is provided by an adaptor that i got from a free market either by use of resistor or an active circuit.
