Likely to get overlooked, but I will try a conversation with a real topic here...

If considering getting a new wide format plotter and scanner (44"+), does anyone have experience with the all-in-ones that do both versus 2 separate machines?

My office has separate machines. Definitely can't scan anything as big as 44" either.

Currently we have older 44" plotter and a separate scanner that I think can do 48".
Looking into just buying 2 separate again or combining budget into a multi-function type.

Tricky part is deciding if there is any need for a 60" printer for large GIS maps or something which is likely super rare.
Also the need/use of a dual roll plotter to hold 2 paper sizes.

Just trying to narrow down the field a bit.

We have separate.  And I Don't know how big either is.  But our plotter is sloooooow...

We have the plotter that accommodates the two sizes of rolls. And just a relatively normal scanner/printer, that can print up to 11x17's but can scan something maybe bigger? Not sure it's max scan size.

We are on our second leased Kyocera scanner/ plotter.

It holds 2 rolls, prints and scans up to 48".

It prints six 24 x 36 drawing per min.

Works good.
