In no particular order, some things that have happened in 2020 (I'm sure I've missed many more):

Australia wildfires
Iran attacks US military base in Iraq
Ukrainian flight crashes, all 176 passengers die
Kobe and Gigi Bryant die in kelicopter crash
Ahmaud Arbery killed
George Floyd killed
Breonna Taylor killed
Russia put bounties on US troops
Russia leaking radiation from nuclear plant
Beirut explosion
Visakhapatnam gas leak
Indian ocean cyclones
Locust swarms in India and Africa (I blame Moses)
California wildfires
Worst stock market drop since 1987
GDP drop -32.9%, worst drop on record
Reynhard Sinaga found guilty
Harvey Weinstein found guilty (more of a positive thing)
Golden state killer finally sentenced to prison
Lori Loughlin and husband sentenced to prison
Two gulf storms form in gulf, approaching Louisiana

Less noteworthy:
Donald Trump impeached, acquitted
Prince Harry and Meghan renounce royalty
UK withdraws from EU
Summer Olympics postponed
PE Exams canceled, postponed, moved to CBT

Not to take away from anything above, but:
The great Engineerboards.com crash of 2020

And all of this while dealing with the Coronavirus pandemic.

in 2016, the site got hacked, and actually crashed, while I was out on a ski trip and not really able to fix, was hell for about a week wrestling it back -

You have anyone assisting you with running the site or is it just you?

I used to have several admins, and then learned one of their passwords was 'password' - my fault it was an old timer who hadnt been around in a while, so I try and keep that list very low from now on, normally its on autopilot, except for when these updates happen!

also for the record my HAHA reaction was to the eb crash comment, not all the tragic stuff going on ♥

I dont know if Gulf Storms make it all the way to Colorado and beyond to the west but I am hoping the storms are light enough to not impact the Gulf Coast badly but at the same time continue to move NW and our way with enough strength to put some fires out - but I think normally our big storms come from the pacific / arctic areas :(
