  1. I felt like this was a very difficult exam, and looking at the pass rates that feeling is justified. This was my first time taking, and I passed, but I thought since I've been lurking through the forums for the past couple of days, I should share what I did to try to help some people that didn't make it this time. I encourage others that passed to include what they did here too. FYI, this is 100% my opinion and what I did to pass. It is not the only way to pass the exam. Graffeo - This book is literally an amazing resource without all of the technical "fluff". I think its ~$100 for t
  2. Hello all, My background is in mechanical engineering and I have passed FE - Mechanical (took it in 2017). I work as an O & M engineer in renewable energy industry in Idaho. I am interested in taking PE - Power exam but I am not sure if I will be allowed to switch specialization when I am taking my PE. I went through NCEES and state specific PE documentation to see if that's allowed. But I did not find anything which prohibits that. Let me know if anyone knows more about it. That would be much appreciated. Thanks !!

  8. I took the Power PE Exam in October 2011. Unfortunately I did not pass so I am preparing to retake the test in April 2012. This forum is to discuss any study materials that would be helpful for the test. Books, websites, notes from work...anything that helps would be great! This forum can also be used to post questions about all things relating to the PE Power exam: questions about specific sample questions or hard to understand concepts are all welcomed!
