Can I apply for PE exam without getting EIT certification? (NJ)

I am registered in NJ and was never an EIT. I went back to test after 20 years. Took the FE one month, PE the next. No problems getting licensed when results came out. If you have proper experience that meets the requirements for license, it's no issue. Not everyone goes traditional route.

    NY PE Licensure

My certificate is -0000 also, but the license number is there, so I'll take it! Maybe their old Tandy 1000's can't support the +4?

    NY PE Licensure

Maybe they need to increase fees to be able to upgrade the old Atari 2600 they are running their systems on. It's not like they charge 500 bucks and take forever, when other states are processing for $60 and issuing in a few weeks.

    NY PE Licensure

I'm still waiting on NYS Comity. I sent it in back in December. Point of reference, I needed AZ for a project. Took 3 weeks turn around from when I mailed it, to have license in hand. The disparity between states is crazy.

PE - Taking Exam Before Gaining Experience

I am recently licensed in my home state, having gone back to take the exams after 20 years experience. I applied for Comity in PA. PA told me I have to wait for four years to arbitrarily elapse, since I took my FE and PE exams back to back just last year. They sent information that says they...

    Reciprocity Delaware to Pennsylvania PE

I am in NJ. My PA is pending. You don't have to retake the NCEES exams. They are universal. It doesn't make sense to have to retake the precise exam you've already taken. I wonder if NCEES would even allow it. As I understand it, the nuances come in the timelines and experience attainment. Some...

150.00 to violate ethics, take responsibility for someone else's work, and facilitate unlicensed companies to perform engineering work? Go over to the exam section and see what we go through to earn that "stamp". Our careers are worth more than that. Tell your company to hire professionals, get...

    NJ PELS Approval Letter

I assume you have the license activation form? Mine was two pages. The bottom portion had a "return this portion" with your payment section. I filled out my credit card information and signed it, locked the .pdf with a password that I set to my application number, and emailed to the person I had...
