    License Number Assignments (California PE)

Mine came in mid-week some time last week (either the 13th or 14th). Checked Wednesday morning randomly and it happened to be up. I would be at the 6 week mark today too.

    License Number Assignments (California PE)

Yeah I hope so too. The whole process has been slow the entire way. Not really surprised that this final approval is also going to take months. In the end it really doesn't matter that I get it now or next month... Haha I'm just being impatient.

CA Civil Surveying Exam - Study Recommendation

I second the CPESR course. Never had a surveying course before, so I signed up for this one. Got through the lectures and the 5 practice exams in about 2 weeks and they left me fully prepared (maybe even a bit over-prepared, but that's not such a bad thing!).

    Application Progress?

Interesting to see the timeline. I thought mine was real slow, but it seems like they might do these things in batches. 2020/11/20 Applied via USPS 2021/01/04 Check cashed 2020/02/17 Referred to technical review 2020/03/15 Completed technical review (no comments) 2020/04/12...

    Q2 2021 Post-Surveying Exam Thoughts

I took the CPESR course. Some of it was new material for me, and some was stuff I had seen before (never had a surveying class). Took about 1.5 weeks to get through the lecture videos and workbook, then I powered through the practice exams in a week. I took them in order, one a day Saturday...

Got the pass (seismic)! Haha kinda concerning when I saw the link for diagnostic reports and re-examination forms.

    Texas is out!

    Big congrats!  🥳

    Texas is out!

Texas lists 70% as the passing score in their official legal documents, so it was real close.. You should have passed then, right?

    Texas is out!

Percentages are out!  Rocked a 91% on geotech. 😁

    Texas is out!

Not a breakdown.  But they do some trickery and scale the scores so that the cut score is a 70%, then they tell you what "%" you got.

    Texas is out!

Passed geotech!  Any idea when Texas typically releases the TX % grade?

October 2019 Post Exam Wait Period - Welcome to the Suck

Who knows?  They have to do their hocus pocus on the scores to give us our TX %.

Honestly, I'd be equally excited for the Cardinals to send me an email about ANY off season move as I am about the results.

October 2019 Post Exam Wait Period - Welcome to the Suck

I just keep checking the Texas exam grades page hoping that it will update first. I also have this irrational fear that if I'm trying to check it at the moment they update the page that my score won't be registered lol.

October 2019 Post Exam Wait Period - Welcome to the Suck

For the folks that seem utterly flabbergasted by the fact that people expect results before the "8 - 10 weeks release window."
