They told me they don’t sell it without registering.... i am not registering for that course ever...actually i will think seriously when i get the confirmations of my failures lol

I agree its highly unlikely that they would, but there is no harm in trying. I am contacting them right now.

I concur with @David Connor, SE. The seismic design manuals are a must have, though you have to be selective about what you study in detail, as most of the examples in these manuals are just way too detailed.  IBC Volume 1-General: is a must. IBC Volume 2-Light frame; tilt up: was way too...

Thats exactly what happened to me. I wanna say i did pretty good on the vertical afternoon (3 problems 90-95%; and 1 problem about 75-80%).

no, actually my Saturday morning run was not a bad one.  I said this because I think this exam requires you to think in two different ways per say: "Vertical thinking"; and "Lateral thinking". I felt that under the pressure of the exam these two thinking strategies gets mixed up in your head...

I wish I did, i took both modules and deeply regret it. Next April, I will do just one :).

Anyone took this this year and felt they messed up? i honestly felt it was brutal...

Here are my two cents worth: 1- I dont see this any different to a classical simple shear connection (plate or angle bolted to the webs of joists and girders). 2- There is a counter acting torsional moment from the joists on the left.
