Civil PE Review Courses - ASCE and PPI

Agreed. On that note, Matt, did you find the EET class was worth the time? I'm thinking this go 'round I'd rather not sit through lectures, but work a lot more problems.  Anyone want to sell me their EET breadth/WRE depth binders?

Civil PE Review Courses - ASCE and PPI

I Took the PPI Civil WRE Depth review course and would NOT recommend it. Instructor was clueless and evaded answering questions.

For those discovering they didn't pass...

I worked a ton of problems during my 6 months of studying. However, I realize now I may have wasted a lot of time "reading" and "Highlighting" when I should have been "solving." I found the 6 minute solutions problems and some of the other Lindeburg/PPI problems took hours to solve - nothing...

For those discovering they didn't pass...

I did take a review course and would NOT recommend PPI. The instructor was clueless. In fact, he told us we would have the option of answering the questions in English or Metric, which, at the time, I knew was completely false. It was a mess. But I only took a review course for the afternoon...

Olden, I'm with you. 40/80 for Water Resources Environmental first try. I studied 6 months for this exam. After I took it, I knew there were questions I didn't answer correctly but felt like I couldn't have studied more to even have touched on those topics. I am feeling a bit stunned. In fact, I...

    COME ON CA!

Yeah, it was an expensive decision, but hopefully it pays off.

    COME ON CA!

Correct, I did not take Seismic and Surveying. I may at a later date, but wanted to focus on the NCEES exam. I don't really ever foresee living or working in CA. The timing with engineering board meetings and my "responsible charge" time was slowing me down. AK wouldn't allow me to sit for the...

    COME ON CA!

I'm never planning to get my fingers printed. I only took the exam in CA to expedite my AK licensing process. I'm sure I'm not the only person who is doing/has done this. There's no way the fingerprinting is holding up the show.

A Thank You to those of you who have donated!

Just made a donation to appease the NCEES gods, or CA gods, or whomever controls my PE fate. I hope CA releases exam results soon!

    COME ON CA!

This wait is nothing short of inhumane. Any bets on when we will hear? Do you guys think an afternoon release of NCEES results is likely for CA?

    COME ON CA!

It better happen today! This wait is crazy. THE PEOPLE NEED TO KNOW.

    COME ON CA!

Has anyone else taken the NCEES exam in CA and not taken the State-specific exams? I'm just wondering if that changes results release timing.
