Just got a response from BPELSG. My original email was from a week ago  <_< Hello,   Are the October 2017 Seismic and Surveying exam results going to be released only after NCEES releases the national P&P exam results? Or is it possible that the Seismic and Surveying exams could be...

    SE RESULTS ARE OUT

I'm looking to take the SE exam a year from now. I don't plan on using a review course because I learn best studying on my own. Any tips?

California Seismic and Survey to be offered year round?

Don't take more than one exam per weekend. That way you're not burnt out. Take your PE exam the day it's administered, take the Seismic the week before, take the Surveying the week after. (I'd take whichever one you feel more confident on first, to boost your confidence and practice for the...

Man... I had no problem waiting for the first 6 weeks. Once I saw the PE exam was released it's been so painful to wait! I think when I take the SE exam i'll be better off blocking engineerboards from my browser

Everything you wanted to know about the CA-Survey/Seismic Civil PE Exams

@Not a PE If you need a surveying reference book, I've got PPI's brand new 2017 Surveying reference manual. I just used it for October 2017 and it's all I needed. I felt completely prepared for the exam with it. PPI sells it for $120. I'll give it to you for $100.

Huh? Well it doesn't look like it will be today. My guess is tomorrow morning we'll see the BPELSG website announce results will be emailed out. We'll get our results that afternoon.

    Deceptive Exam

Someone who is not getting a passing score will not be as consistent on their subjects. That is because a greater portion of your questions are correct from guessing. Extreme examples - someone who knows everything 100% has no variation because nothing is left up to guessing. Someone who knows...

    CA Specific Exams

I feel pretty sure I passed both exams. All of my classes and all of my work is seismic stuff, and I took a surveying class in college and reviewed pretty well for it. I felt very confident on the exams, just a little surprised with how "fast" they were. But still, you never know. I'm dying...

    Oct 2017 Results Map

It's not BPELSG who made it look like CA released on the first day... the picture on the first post is just made by engineeringboards.com users for our own reference. And it's not an error, that chart is for the PE exam. CA isn't the only state with state specific exams AFAIK. But hey, I'm in...

Cool thanks. I also noticed that PCI Handbook is no longer listed under the Design Standards... So correct me if I'm wrong but I don't believe we'll be tested on anything out of the PCI Handbook?

Yeah... what the heck? Why does the FE exam take only a week to get results back? Completely forgot about that. My current understanding of the reason for long result waits for the S&S & PE exams was that they use statistical analysis to determine passing score, technical analysis to...
