I brought two small engineer scales with me just in case I needed to use them to line up two values on a chart or graph. if you need to trace over something to get to a value just make sure you push the lead back into the pencil before doing so ;)

Good luck to everyone busting their butts studying for this exam! You are all almost there, and when it is 4:00am or 11:00pm and your nose is in those books or your cranking out practice problem after practice problem and your eyelids are getting heavy, just envision logging into your NCEES...

You should really do your best to have a solid understanding of a lot of the major basic topics involving all disciplines. You should not find yourself relying on example problems because when you are in the exam, your brain will be functioning at a billion mph and you may not remember where...

I have never experienced the level of excitement that I had seeing the green "Pass" notification in my entire life. I still think about that often, granted it was only 2 months ago!

I completely agree. I did spend a lot of time cross referencing what was provided by EET to whatever reference it came from and then did some further reading on whatever topic that may be.

I think that I brought all but one of the suggested references, but yes the one I did not bring was one of the pavement books.

I strongly suggest you bring ALL of the references that NCEES has listed in the Transpo Exam Curriculum. Spending a little bit more now for the references is better than paying for the exam again and kicking yourself endlessly for not bringing a reference you needed.

What I recommend then is to focus on understanding the binders inside and out. Know where each topic is, sticky tab the hell out of it, know where all equations are. Being able to cross reference between the NCEES curriculum and the EET curriculum is not very important, from my experience. The...
