    ASHRAE Superheated tables

People make hundreds of thousands of dollars off those PSM and RMP books, every year....   $2500 seems like a good investment

    ASHRAE Superheated tables

Just $200...   PSM and RMP are they expensive ones... http://www.iiar.org/IIAR/WCM//ItemDetail?iProductCode=01BOO-EN0101

    ASHRAE Superheated tables

If you must have a table the iiAR.org ammonia refrigeration data book would have this information.   BUT it is expensive.

Help selecting PE Discipline - ME: Thermal/Fluids or CE: WR/Enviro.

The 11th edition practice problems book has the same problems as the 13th in most if not all the chapters.  The 13th edition just added more problems to the chapters.

Help selecting PE Discipline - ME: Thermal/Fluids or CE: WR/Enviro.

Mckenz007, I did try selling them here but no one was interested.  They are old but still very useful.  Now they are just taking up space...   Space that I need.

Help selecting PE Discipline - ME: Thermal/Fluids or CE: WR/Enviro.

mckenz007, I have a set of older ME PE Review books that you can have for free.  I think they might be the 11th edition...    I have the reference book, practice problems book, and the quick reference book.  PM your address if interested. Good Luck!

    Chemical PE

Yes and no...  You could install a printer driver that would save the file in a .pdf format.  NCEES does not have there files secured properly that stop this....  Just an FYI

    TH-FL SMS CH-2 Prb- 17

I saw a couple of these problems on my exam....SKIPPED....and came back to these when/if I had time. These were supposed to be up my alley being HVAC&R but I was never comfortable doing these analysis.

Passed Other Disciplines 2nd Attempt - 4.5 Years After College

Congrats on passing!!!  The FE exam, at least to me, was the hardest exam of all.  I also did not prepare for the FE exam like I did the PE Exam.  To me, the PE exam was much easier.

    Globe control valve

Absolutely certain.  You are decreasing the volumetric flow upstream and downstream of the valve by closing the valve.  Volumetric flow is directly proportional to the velocity.  Velocity head and friction head are both directly proportional to velocity.    Examine the Bernoulli and Darcy...

    PA - PE Renewal License

Passed the PE in April 2016.  This is my first renewal.   It's been 3+ weeks since I did the application.  I have work coming up, I work alone in my own LLC, I it is making me a little nervous that the license has not been renewed, yet.   How long does it usually take to review the renewal...

    Globe control valve

friction head and Velocity head both decreases upstream and downstream.  You changed the Cv of the valve and the pressure drop across the valve.

Anyone studying for (or passed) the FE Industrial exam?

I would suggest downloading the NCEES equation book and get familiar with that.  I did little to prepare for this exam but it was difficult for me, 20 years ago.  But I also took the Mechanical Engineering exam.  I passed...

    NCEES Practice Exam Question 112

I do not have that edition of the book either.  I think it is like the problem  #504 in the 2001 NCEES machine design problems.
