    Should I Switch Depths???

What do you feel you do the most of at work?  It seemed to me (just judging from the AM construction questions) that Construction covers a really wide variety of problems.  If you feel like another area (like WRE) is something you have equal experience in, then switching could be the answer. ...

Well, that really blows.  Seriously, give those guys and gals who took that 16-hr exam an extra title!

I just happened to have read through the board minutes this morning (trying to gauge when in the world they'll release some results), and came across the bit about the structural exam.

    GA On My Mind

The Georgia Board has recently changed that requirement.  So @YL-2017 you probably need to look into it more.  They do have a requirements for a 16-hr structural exam is your work falls into a certain category.  More info on the rules change is in the Board's January 2017 Board Minutes available...

They had a newly scheduled teleconference board meeting at 9:30 this morning, so hopefully soon.  I called them after the April 2017 exam and they had absolutely no clue.  It's really a shame that you can't talk to someone within the GA Board of PELS, only a general answering service at the...

I only took the EET WRE Depth course, so didn't have their AM binder.  So, I used my SOPE binder for a good portion of the AM and the EET binder for all of the WR in the AM and then almost all of the PM.  You know...it's hard to tell you how confident I feel.  If I knew a problem, I knew it, ya...

I probably used it for all but 5 of the questions.  The binder is an excellent resource.  I've now got it on my shelf at work and pulled it out last week to refresh myself on some pump curve info.

Agreed.  I did use the SOPE material more than the CERM for the AM portion.  I think SOPE's breadth review is pretty good.  EET's WRE depth review is better.

@caychanh, I think that 5% discount is the only one they offer.  I unfortunately signed up too late to get it last time.  I totally agree that the exams seemed so different.  I actually thought the wording of a lot of questions in the April 2017 exam was confusing.   :P   I think Nazrul with EET...

I did SOPE for the April 2017 exam, then EET WRE Depth for the Oct 2017 Exam.  EET's WRE depth course is far superior.  Hands down.  The EET binder is also in order of the test specifications - making it quicker and easier to find the info you're looking for.  The EET binder includes equation...

@RBHeadge PE, the "PELS Investigative Committee" meeting for today by teleconference was showing last week.  The Board meeting on 12/12 was also showing.  The Board meeting teleconference today is new.  I've visited the meetings page a few times and quite a few of them are by teleconference.  If...
