    Reza's Civil Surveying Workbook

Just passed surveying. Knew I was going to resell it so made very minimal notes in it. Sells for $139 on his website. Selling for $75. Venmo is easiest.

I used a great book, "Seismic Principles" by Paul Richards. I think it is leaps and bounds better than any other seismic book. But then again I feel like I did terrible on the Seismic (even though I use Seismic design every day). So I guess the proof will be in the pudding.

But for sure this is better than waiting for the PE exam results. I doubt if it will be this week. Probably next.

Took both last Monday (per advice I received on here to take it at the end of the month). They were way harder than I expected, we will see how I do.

    NCEES Problem 601(a)

Yes there are interaction equations for masonry and concrete. I can provide references when I get home from work. The interaction diagrams are based on the interaction equations.

    Email from NCEES

I was reading through threads on here where people thought that there morning score wouldn't affect the afternoon passing score (I would have thought this too). Maybe everyone else knows this but I thought I would just post a response I got from NCEES anyway: Thank you for contacting NCEES...

Civil PE Practice Exams that helped

Overall I think the NCEES test was the best. There were some questions that didn't belong anywhere near the AM section. Agree

Luckily I had a wood class in school and that's what I do almost every single day. I did the same thing as you. Pick one thing that you are bad at and don't worry about it. For me that was masonry. I guessed on every single masonry question.

Civil PE Practice Exams that helped

Isn't that really expensive though? My firm is super cheap compared to others, they just gave me $250 + exam fees + the day off. So I was just able to buy practice exams, some reference materials. Luckily I borrowed the CERM from a coworker. It seems like other companies pay for entire $1000 (or...

Civil PE Practice Exams that helped

I have seen people ask if they needed to take a review course (this thread on reddit). I don't think so because I just sort of self-studied and that worked for me. In your case do you feel like you could've passed with just self-study?

Yeah I felt like some of the AM questions belonged in the PM sections of the various depths. That was frustrating ...

Civil PE Practice Exams that helped

I thought the CERM Practice Manual was not useful at all. Also Aliakbari's practice structural was heavily littered with errors to the point that it was not helpful at all. I thought NCEES obviously was good, PE Prepared LLC was good, CivilPEPractice.com was alright but it seemed like they just...
