I love it when I clearly state something on the plans and it still ends up being an RFI. Then I can respond and say "Did you read the plans? Please see sheet S2 Detail 6 where the information is clearly provided."

No, there is no correlation. If you fail the SE they will give you a week to sign up for the next exam cycle, even if the deadline has passed. I received my results for the SE after the deadline was passed.
