Interesting.  All I know is that I was told to take it in state for power.

I got this answer before the last administration as I am an OH resident going for a CA license.  You must take it in CA.

I feel the same way but, knowing CA can take 90+ days to turn around an application, I wanted to make sure that I did everything I could do to minimize snag points.

Just wanted to share that I did the CA take-home rules/law exam last night.  Umm...  Don't underestimate that thing.  It took way longer than I anticipated.  Actually set aside some distraction-free time for yourself to get through it else frustration will set in quickly.

I felt the exact same way walking out of the PE.  You weren't in San Mateo by chance.  Were you?  That's where I sat for it.
