Would you redo becoming an engineer?

    Light razzing.  ;)

Would you redo becoming an engineer?

This is absolutely correct.  The rules are simple actually.  Your spelling, grammar, diction, punctuation, and use of verbs, adverbs, nouns, pronouns, proper nouns, adjectives, and past-participles should be 100% correct 100% of the time in thread titles and at least 95% correct 90% of the time...

    Ncees Pencil April 2018

Dude, I apologize, I never did start it.  But I do think about it.  I promise I will one of these days!

    Ncees Pencil April 2018

I am meeting some friends for lunch so, in fact, I'll be receiving my new-design pencil today!  :D

    Good Luck on your exams

Personally, I think this is justification for a permaban.  Sorry Vel, I'm sure you are a great guy and everything but this poor judgement is just plain inexcusable behavior.

    Good Luck on your exams

'Gasp'.  The horror!  This is why I recommend every examinee memorize my signature line!  ;)   Seriously, I really did print out and bring with me the NCEES exam-day rules (including the 'keep the pencil policy' in my signature) just in case any issues arose, I could point to the official...

Possible playhouse assistance for inclusive park

I like it but I don't see that holding up to the elements.  I think it will look pretty worn pretty quickly.

Possible playhouse assistance for inclusive park

In our City we do what RG said.  We procure a vender that offers pre-designed modular playground equipment.  But be prepared to spend $40,000 for something basic up to over $300,000 for something extravagant.  https://www.playgroundequipment.com/products/commercial-playgrounds/accessible ...

    Good Luck on your exams

May I humbly point out that this new pencil does fit my color prediction formula? April of an Odd Year = BlueOctober of an Odd Year = RedApril of an Even Year = BlackOctober of an Even Year = Green http://engineerboards.com/topic/24750-i-almost-solved-the-ncees-pencil-color-equation-but-not-quite/

    Good Luck on your exams

Thanks knight! Howly cow!  I never thought the day would come.  The previous design was, what?  Like 16 years old?  Does this mean that those of us with the previous design now own a "classic"?  Worth more money?  ;)   I don't care if I have to beg, borrow, or steal..... I am getting my paws...

    Watches?

Now that you mention it, I don't think I was able to turn off the one chirp/beep it makes when you start the stop watch.  I think you'll be ok.

    Watches?

m_p, you are right about the F91W.  Yikes, that kinda blows.   I found the watch I used for the exam, in my drawer.  :) It is a Casio DB-36.   I'd recommend the DB-36 or: W800H-1AV for $18 or F201WA-1A for $10.50 or W201AV-1AV for $12 or W96H-1BV for $16 There a handful of choices...

    Watches?

m_p, I don't remember the model number, sorry.  I can try to find it.... I'll think about where I put the watch.  I do think it was a Casio though.  Does your F91W have a countdown timer?  You can set it at 4 hours and have it count down.  Do make sure the alarm/beeping is turned off though.

    Watches?

I wore a very simple digital watch with a stop watch.  As soon as they said 'start', I started my stopwatch.  All beeping sounds were turned off.  It stayed on my wrist.  Did this for 8 hr, CA-Seismic, CA-Survey, and FE.     I still swear to this day that they called stop exactly one minute...

Stephen Hawking, Renowned Scientist, Dies at Age 76

A great mind for sure.   When he was diagnosed with ALS at age 21, I believe, doctors gave him 3 years to live.  He lived to 76.

CA Seismic review - EET vs Hiner

I strongly recommend EET.  I promise you won't regret it.  This is based on reading and hearing dozens of experiences/reviews, comparing the class hours/curriculum between the two, and knowing how Dr. I. goes above and beyond for his students - even outside class hours.  Good luck.

Does anyone keep their materials after passing?

I don't know why everyone is so quick to sell their stuff after they pass.  I saved everything.  I have used it 1.) to help members here with questions they may have and 2.) to do a little side work of preparing test prep material.  I can't say I have used it much for work though.
