    Yes application and oral exam.

    D. WRE Anyone?

I'm curious if anyone has gone through the DWRE process? It appears to be a straight up presentation and oral exam. Totally informal, but simply judging you on what you know. You need to have your PE for 10+ years before you are eligible, so I have a few years, but i am curious.

CE PE - 20+ years after graduating

My degree is in Geography, and that was 20 years ago. If I can pass the FE and PE you can too. I took EET, and I'm pretty sure I got 100 on the PE Exam

Everything you wanted to know about the CA-Survey/Seismic Civil PE Exams

I just started pulling reciprocity paperwork for CA together....so these extra tests are changing in January? i.e. the EET review courses aren't going to be any good? I was planning on taking the review courses January 2018

    GA (Green Advantage) Certified Practitioner

Interesting. I would be sure the reference the USGBC credit library as for credit requirements. It appears that you need 30% of the GC, and 30% of all subs to have this certification. That seems to be a lofty goal, IMO.

I've never heard of LEED awarding points for design staff that holds accreditation other than LEED AP w/ specialty.

    New York PE Comity

LOL what??? Just fill out the paperwork, and transmit your NCEES. You can even ask for an interim license while you wait for review.

    License by Comity - NY

I have to submit my NY soon....it's been sitting on my desk for a month. That $377 check is killing me, and I just haven't had the loot to put it out (and can't buy a money order with the company CC). I'm also waiting on CT, but I think I missed whatever cutoff there was for the July Board...

Setting up a Lunch & Learn PE Review

I have a number of EITs at our firm who range in experience from 2-10 years. I want to start up a bi-weekly lunch and learn to go over PE-style problems. I'm shooting from the hip here. Has anyone done something like this at their firm before that could share an outline?  We aren't necessarily...

When a PE denies signing the SER

I had to deal with this as well when compiling my NCEES record. If you have other options, simply use those options and never speak to this person again. Karma is a *****, and things like this are never forgotten. Our industry is a relatively small one at the local level, and everyone knows each...

Compare PE Civil 10/2016 and 04/2017 exams

I heard April '15 was the easiest exam they ever published.

Considering getting a Master's Degree. I am a Civil Engineer.

I am one class away from finishing my MSCE with Transportation concentration. Take a look at the program at NJIT, you can do it all online, and it has one of the best ROI's for an MSCE in the country. I recently changed jobs, and the hiring managers all flat-out said that the PE and MSCE is...
