I never got an official EIT certificate (in GA you have to pay for one and being a recent college grad, the funds were barely in my favor). I printed out a copy and stuck it in the front of my engineering binder.

I'm in the exact same situation. In that regards, I should also mention that I will probably be looking to work somewhere where my license and degree has more merit...and more benefits lol

Yeah, I'd like to do power as well, or electronics (if I'm actually well versed enough to perform; I haven't checked the test scope). Speaking of, getting my Certified Automation Professional (CAP) may be on my list, depending on how the next few months go.

Same. BPELSG received my application as of Tuesday, May 28. Does anyone know how they let you know they've completed the process? Do they send a letter/email or am I supposed to keep checking the license lookup everyday until I show up? Tried looking around the BPELSG website, but couldn't find...

Graduating with my Masters in June. For now, just relaxing and enjoying time with my family and friends. Will go for my PMP before year's end. After that, maybe (big maybe) go for my SSBB. Would go for PhD if someone pays for it.

Welp... I reached out to BPELSG to see if there was anyway that I could substitute the fingerprint card. No response. Went ahead and bought those fingerprint cards that I posted earlier just in case.  Then I checked the mail and found that they FINALLY delivered my BPELSG cards. Crisis averted...

I've seen some people on EB say that it took over 3 months... However, they were civil and it may have had to do with the seismic and surveying exams that they have to take in addition to the PE. It also sounded like the board stalled on the application progress until the applicants followed up...

Dang. I had ordered the fingerprint cards nearly 3 weeks ago. They were a no show. I ordered some more on Monday. I'm hoping they don't get lost and get here at the same time as my last reference letter (which was also a pain - at least for my oldest qualifying engagement)
