Definitely not 8-10 weeks, my experience after taking the exam multiple times was that the wait was between 6-7 weeks, I am in California so please take that into consideration.

Hello gomeybear....I am in California and brought a seat cushion to my test site. Others did too and the proctors were OK with it, in fact they didn't even question it. I agree with RBHeadge though... contact your state board and ask if this is something they would allow, I can't imagine them...

Hello Workx!...I would say that if you can get through the NCEES practice exams on the FIRST pass with a score of 55 or better you have a very good chance of passing the real deal. Did you time yourself  when you worked the practice problems (full 8 hours)? This is very important as it'll help...

California didn't do that either, in fact, I brought plenty of hand written notes, worked out problems, etc. in engineering paper, all in 3-ring binders and they were ok with it.

At the end of the course there is a refresher quizz for the earlier weeks...I recommend that in addition to that, you keep doing problems from the earlier chapters to keep things fresh as you said... good luck studying !

As you continue to go through all the refresher material that's out there for your discipline (mine was MDM) , you will find that unfortunately, there are plenty of mistakes and erratas out there...frustrating when you're trying to prepare for such a hard exam. Even the NCEES practice exams have...

I see what you mean....maybe the problem is poorly worded because I can't think of another way to get the answer they did.

If you have MERM 13th edition, the equation they're using is on page 18-9, Table 18.5. It is the very first equation on the top left of the table, straight plug-and-chug: Q (in gpm) x h (in feet) x SG , all divided by 3956. The answer comes up to be 2.12 which corresponds to A.

I'm sure they will... Aaron's Brothers is now located inside most Michael's and I'm sure they can replicate that. I brought a picture of exactly what I wanted so you can do the same .... You WILL get your certificate  :bananalama:

@utilityeng....thank you so much for the idea, I just had my wall certificate framed and really liked the results. Michael's (Aaron's Brothers) did a great job and they gave me 65% off! 

Right there with you....4 attempts for me which I now call battle scars...well worth the sacrifice though...

From what I remember it'll be another 4 weeks...they're about 1/2 way there....
