Theres no point in memorizing problems. Doing the same exam 10 times is pointless. Someone posted before the April exam that they would read the first sentence of the problem and be able to answer the question. Whats the point? You aren't going to get questions you've seen before on the exam.

When you go to have your palm prints and finger prints taken at the Prometric testing center they administer a lengthy Polygraph examination. You will need to provide all of this to become licensed...

Just remember to answer all of the questions correct and you will be fine

Yes. As long as you have passed the Prometric Polygraph before the exam date.

The majority of the fee was to cover the polygraph, which is mandatory...

Not sure. You can contact NCEES directly and they will tell you the same thing I did. They love getting phone calls, especially a few days after the exam.

yea it takes about 4 hours to finish the question and answer section, get your fingerprints and palm prints, and finish the polygraph

I just went. it was about $500

Some NCEES officials have accounts here. Apparently they strive to keep pass rates around 60%, but last April they were high, leading them to believe the exam was too easy (it was easy, I took it). So the mechanical and environmental exams will be harder this round...

No. I was just going to do small side projects. I spoke with the state board. I do need to be licensed in the state in which the PLLC is formed.

Do I need to be licensed in the state I start a PLLC? Or just licensed in general? I don’t plan on doing any consulting for a while, possibly side work that does not need to be stamped/not necessarily engineering related.
