For the first problem - are you assuming the shears in the x and y direction act simultaneously? Or would you look at it as direct shear plus torsional shear from either the x-direction or y-direction but not together?

I was a first time SE taker - received email that said i passed vertical, not lateral but that I should be able to log onto NCEES and see my results. This was yesterday at 4:30 et. Still nothing on ncees website. My last name is L, so I can't imagine it's an alphabetical thing.

Just got an email from Indiana - told me I passed Vertical, but not Lateral. Has not been updated on NCEES dashboard yet though. Really curious to get my breakdown for lateral. Glad the wait is over..
