"Why work for a company where you can't use your PE."
If you don't get a 20% raise you are not using your PE. Don't settle!

But this strategy does not work. What employer is going to say, "sure hand them over all the responsibilities."
The question as to how this adds to your employer is moot.
Find a new Job with new responsibilities.
Last year it seems most people had their results posted on or after 5/22. Does this sound reasonable. The Oct 2014 results being delayed really screwed me up.

How proficient in structural design do new hires need to be. I've always wondered if new hires are given tasks to perform using a calculations and notes. This way the new hire can reference books and get up to speed.
Precise reason why I commuted from northern Virginia for this exam. Had to wake up at 4:30 for the 1:30 commute. It had rained the night before and traffic was very heavy with and accident and low visibility. But I luckily had a good nights rest.
The exam room was very hot.
The PE seems to be the great emancipator of low starting salaries. If you are below EIT market rate get another job. Market rate around 55-65. The PE should bump you up to 70-85. This is for civil engineering.
