    2019 FIFA Women's World Cup

I'm fairly liberal but sometimes it's a bit extreme.  Here's a good example of that: https://www.nytimes.com/2019/06/13/opinion/womens-world-cup-2019-usa.html?action=click&module=Opinion&pgtype=Homepage#commentsContainer Arguing the US goal scoring and celebration of it was over the...

Last thing watched on netflix / Amazon..................

Wife has bugged me to watch Kim's Convenience which she recently started.  Sitcom focused on Korean family, actually much funnier than I expected.

@SacMe24 this question was already answered in the Mechanical TFS forum and should be ignored as it is a multiple post.

    OCTOBER 2017 PE EXAM

Generally I've found 3-4 steps are required to solve a problem.  All problems do not require 6 minutes to solve - that is the average time to solve a problem (4hrs/40problems = 6mins/prob).  It is typical you may find some problems which you can solve in 1-2 mins whereas others may take up to 10...

Last thing watched on netflix / Amazon..................

Just started Vikings on Hulu.  First episode was pretty good and about what I expected.  Will probably watch a few more episodes and decide if I want to continue or give up on it.

    Whatcha Playin?

@Supe finished the game if I remember correctly.  I haven't been able to play that much recently but other than the different schools of armor quests and the main quest I don't have much left (I think).   You'll need to be aware of your level because the quests can be notoriously difficult if...

Engineering as a "status" occupation? LMAO

Not sure what information you have to validate this claim.  Material & Metallurgical Engineering is still very strong and my undergrad, which wasn't THAT long ago, included both as separate courses because of the content to cover.  Also, we do quite a lot of failure analyses on mechanical...

Retaking HVAC October 2019 need help

Not to state the obvious but there are four areas where you need improvement - principles heat transfer, energy and mass balances, heating/cooling loads, and systems and components.  The first two you can get from working the MERM companion problems and previous exams.  If you still need help...

    The Automotive Thread

What a crap week for cars.  First the issues with my Ford Explorer then yesterday while on the phone with my wife she has the front, driver side tire blow out on her, most likely due to some debris from an accident.  Ended up scrambling to replace that late yesterday.  Eff this week.
