Sorry for the late response. We had strep throat and the flu passed around our house. I had hard enough time keeping up with work, today is my first day back to studying.  Zack's explanation makes sense. I approached the problem completely wrong.

If I remember correctly the font size is the exact same as the NCEES Practice Exam.  Yes, bring a backup calculator. You can keep it on the exam table or in the case/tote you carry your books in.

I failed with a 43/80 as well. My 2 worst topics were a 25% in Electric Power Devices and 39% in Protection.  I took Zach's class as well. I know it definitely helped. Maybe I didn't work enough problems I don't know.

NCEES has released the results to the state boards. Now each board has to give permission for NCEES to release them to us.
