There seems to be only a couple of Geotechnical examinees that have posted since the exam.  I would be interested to know how other fellow Geo's felt about the exam.  Come on guys...it's therapeutic! :waiting:  

I hate that too...Mine would shake the entire table every time he grabbed a new reference book from the floor and dropped it on the table!

Same in Baton Rouge.  Our tables were wooden and I managed to jam a splinter in my finger while positioning my resources on the table prior to the test.

I am hopeful that I did enough to pass.  I was able to get an answer (that I had some degree of confidence in) on most of the qualitative questions through either my experience or researching my references.  As for the remaining portion of the depth...not so much.  Probably will be close!

I would have to agree with you on that.  Personally, it’s much easier for me to get a gauge on my performance on the breadth than the depth.  

Based on the comments I've read elsewhere, it seems that the lower end of that scale might occur for this exam cycle. 

29/40 AM, 17/40 PM,  46/80 Total Realistically, I think one would need at least 50/80 to have a shot.

Last cycle I had a good AM and bad PM.  This time I think the AM level of difficulty was slightly higher, but not by much.  As for the PM...I can never get a gauge on that! In regards to scoring, I wish I could help you with that but I can't...let's hope for a lower threshold. 

I had 29 in the am...but only 17 in pm.

Can anyone who has recently passed PLEASE tell me what references really helped with the depth portion?  I have failed the exam several times due to my afternoon performances being substandard.  It has been the same story over and over for me each exam...I am really confident after the breadth...

Civil: Geotechnical: 46/80.  (Am 29, pm 17)

That’s ridiculous logic...It will be 52 because my personal psychic said so!

For the previous exam, I got the email notification about mid morning while at work.  I waited until I got home to look...RED BOX!  I wish there was a more subtle way to find out without having it thrust in your face like that...haha
