I agree with AEI for seismic...just took my exam today so I may wind up failing. However, I have no structural background and after his course and practice exams, I felt confident sitting for the exam and feel like I did well enough to pass.

Just took my Seismic exam. I went through the first time and solved the ones I knew for sure. By the time I took one round through all the questions, I felt confident on 35 or so. I went back the second time and solved maybe 15 more with a lesser degree of confidence. Then I straight up guessed...

Any guesses on the day? I say Monday Nov 9 I am waiting on Survey results. Taking Seismic this month on Nov 20, so long as the fall COVID wave doesn't shut down my test center before then.

Another relevant thread on this topic  below. A fellow user has experience that suggests Ohio is another state that will not grant a license via comity to those who pass the exam prior to receiving the required experience.

However, it does spoil the ability to re-test quickly if I fail. Probably means re-takers have to wait until Q1 2020 at least to reschedule.

I would bet they are up first thing Monday...CTS released results at 4pm on Friday, which is after business hours for NCEES on EST. If you don’t mind me asking, what horror stories are you referring to? Has CTS released erroneous results before? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
