CA Civil Surveying Exam - CPESR Prep Course

Does anyone here have experience with passing the CA Civil Surveying Exam using the CPESR prep course by Kirk Torossian? I am continuing to prepare for my exam on 12/9/22, and I am having more trouble with his practice problems than I anticipated I would. I feel like I understand the concepts well, but I find some of course's practice problems to be either longer than an average question, or the practice question might leave out some information that is key to understanding the intent of the question. This is maybe 40% of the questions I run into. That leads to me spending extra time on a number of problems which is getting to be discouraging.

Does anyone else have experience with this course? Are these review questions simply curved tougher than the typical exam questions?

I think I saw this question elsewhere. I didn't see any missing information but some questions are very hard and took a long time to complete. Some quizzes become very difficult to complete as each question takes much longer that 2.5 minutes. But I just took the exam last month and got my passing score today.

Without going through difficult questions, I don't think I would have been able to pass the exam. Don't be discouraged. I didn't do well on early practice tests and only got better after taking many exams. I think if you go through the course and answer all the questions multiple times, you should be good.

unfortunately i didn't pass surveying using CPESR and Reza, i felt like i had a pretty hard exam with tough questions and lengthy problems.

any suggestions on books for survey study?
