I have a question. If a single-phase transformer is given rated power, rated voltage, resistance, and reactance. Why is voltage^2/ (resistance+reactance) not equal to the power? If the question asks to calculate the primary/secondary current. Should I use Power/voltage or voltage/ (resistance+reactance)?
 
@Zach Stone P.E. explains this in his class. I am not sure if that particular video is available for free. Don't take it the wrong way but looking at your posts, it seems like you are struggling with the basics. If you want to pass the exam, you need to know the basics. I highly recommend you to join his class.
