    Anyone thinking of going to the private sector after getting your PE?

    I went slightly public after I was working for a small private design firm. By that I went active duty and having been working for the Army Corps since I've been a PE. Overall I like it and get to work cool rewarding projects with a national mission like the covid hospital build outs.

    Last year it was the 7th, but this year is also an election year so I feel like Monday is a good guess to account for staff going to vote on Tuesday.

    What is the best calculator for surveying due to DMS

    Having used the 36x for all the other tests it allows you to go back to multiple answers very easily say I want to get the distance between two points I do the difference between x and then the difference between y, I can cleanly re add these numbers and square them and then get the sqrt easily...

    Yeah the casio is extremely fast with the dms, I have gotten to the point to do the conversion in my casio and punch the decimal degrees back into my ti so I can look at old answers. Ill look into the 89 as well.

I have the ti 36x pro and it is too slow for dms, the casio fx 115es plus is pretty fast with dms the only issue I have with it is that it only stores the last answer...

    Can you submit your application a month before your eligible and military expedition

    Hi all I reach my two year mark in May, can I submit my application in April, so I can take seismic and surveying in the quarter I am eligible? Also has anyone used the California board military expedition? And is it much faster than others?
