My application also just got approved!

A coworker told me it has been more than a year since he applied to take the California specific seismic and surveying exams. There was a slight problem with his application, he fixed it, and then he had to go to the back of the line. What is going on in California?!?!?

I am from Utah so just took it in Utah and they told me that is fine and I would just apply as a comity application (even though I am not licensed as SE anywhere yet).

I am also waiting for my application, but mine is a comity application since I already passed the SE exam in another state. Best of luck and I will let you know if anything happens with mine.

Well if you don't want to print a PDF then I guess your options are to either buy a copy from AASHTO or to go without it.

I think in reality you probably just need part 1 which is the first 6 chapters.

Here is a pro tip. Last time I saw on EB that results were flowing in but I hadn't gotten my email yet, so I decided to call my state board and they got to tell me over the phone that I had failed. It was awkward. Just wait the little bit for your email to come in.

Yes the thought is if you get a "Unacceptable" then it is an automatic fail, but we don't really know that for sure because we don't see the passing grades. For example if you got 38/40 in the morning maybe you could still get an Unacceptable on 1 question and pass. We just don't know. There...
