The benefit is to their peace of mind that they did their due diligence. If something bad happens, and they can't honestly attest to the fact that they recalculated everything, and confirmed the information before signing, then that could be a major problem for them.

So I ran the 10-miler with like hardly any training...and it was fine. Don't try this at home, kids. I finished 10 minutes slower than I did back in April... not bad for someone who didn't train. And I went back and checked...the longest run I completed before this race was actually 6 miles and...

I don't want to start the habit of quitting, but I don't think I should start my next 10-miler. I was just way too busy to train properly. I know I can run about 7 miles without any issues. I think I will struggle to finish 10 miles comfortably. I don't know. I can't decide. The race is in 2 weeks.

@BlueBlueprintPE PMP it's always a treat when you don't have to cook formal meals. Eat when and whatever you want. Purging, staging and showing a house is a very hellish experience. I'm so sorry. :( I hope it sells quickly!!!

Without question, what you were asked to do was wrong. You reacted in a reasonable way. When that happens, people will try to make you feel like you're crazy. You're not. Well done.

Each and every one of you deserves a restful and peaceful vacation. This was a long long time coming. My trip to Cancun was postponed from last year and the trip to Jamaica just popped up. Timing was impeccable. Didn't know I needed both back to back.

Just got back from a week in a Jamaica and a long weekend in Cancun. I feel so good. Highly recommend.
