Got seismic results at 2:06pm (passed 😁). Still haven't received surveying. Took both of those tests on the same day in August. The wait is killing me.

I'm still waiting as well - I haven't heard of Seismic and Surveying being released on different days before. However, it's now 4pm......the wait is killing me too!!

Folks who have passed, can you advise on how you prepared?

I took Mansour and Rezza's courses but was unable to pass. Any suggestion would be helpful. Does the in-person training makes a difference?

I used CPESR exclusively. The course is pretty good and the practice tests were a bit tougher than the real test. The real test felt super easy, even had time to go back and check a few of my answers.

I just received my pass result today.

These are the resources I used:
  1. Surveying Principles for Civil Engineers (Cuomo)
    • Worked through every practice problem in this book
  2. CPESR (Torossian)
    • I liked the way the references were outlined in this and used it as a reference while doing practice exams, but didn't do every problem in it.
  3. PESE - Surverying Practice Exams & Solutions (Mansour)
    • Did the 2 practice exams
  4. Civil PE Practice Exam - CA Surveying Version A - PE Prepared
    • Did the 2 practice exam
Best of luck! Sorry it didn't happen for you this time. I timed myself for the practice exams to try to get the feel for pacing and I think that helped, but I still felt incredibly rushed during the exam.
