And most cities not of NYC's statyre would have gone with bus tickets, but I'm glad to see NYC pony up for air fare!

They do the same thing with bears in my neck of the woods. They tag them, then relocate. If the bears show up again, they euthanize. Me thinks Bloomberg has some 'splainin' to do.

I never thought of it like that...but good call. What's worse? Being stuck on a plane between two fat people or two homeless people? Discuss.

During a mayoral election here in Oklahoma back in the 70's I believe the incumbent bused hundreds of hobos to either California or Arizona in addition to a police round up of hookers and drug dealers.

Soon thereafter the hobos came back on the same buses after the mayor in the town we shipped them to returned them to us!
