Hey people,

I am taking the Civil-Transportation PE Exam in April. Any advice on a Engineering dictionary?

Thanks

I used it for one question on my PE exam this past time. I just went to the local University Library and checked it out for a couple of days. I'm an alumni of my local one so I could keep it for 30 days. Check into it or see if someone else at you company has one. Good luck.

If you are going to purchase one wait until the last minute so you can return it once the test is over. I really was only able to find one answer in the dictionary. I'd say it's worth getting, but don't waste your money on an expensive book.

I took the Civil/Transportation exam in October and I just found out I passed. I didn't have an engineering dictionary. I think it's more important to have other reference books like AASHTO. I guess it can't hurt to have one, but I wouldn't spend a lot of money on it.
