So far I've seen stuff like LAPELS, NCBELS, DAPE, NIPPLES, EES, etc.

Well, maybe not NIPPLES, but close.

So what do they call it in your state? The state board that oversees licensing.

Here they call it the Vermont Office of Professional Regulation, or "OPR"

You have us, LAPELS- LouisianA Professional Engineering and Land Surveying Board.

I never put it together...

APELSLA: Architects, Professional Engineers, Land Surveyors, Landscape Architects... APELSLA

I guess if they add other professions, just add letters.

I believe that here they call it - NOSCORES4U - not sure what that stands for.....

OK I'm glad that 1/2 the office is gone on a Friday afternoon.

Have you ever seen anyone shoot Mt. Dew out of their nose.

Nice one.

Oklahoma State Board of Licensure for Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors

In PA it is called the State Registration Board for Professional Engineers, Land Surveyors & Geologists. I'm suprised they didn't group grave diggers in with PE's!

In their own literature it is just refered to as the Board (I didn't see it as SRBPELS&G anywhere). However, the Board part of the Bureau of Professional & Occupational Affairs, which I know is referred to as BPOA. We are all going to get fired for screwing off at work! Well, if we pass the PE then who cares because we will probable get better paying jobs! But if we fail and get fired...Oh ****! :drunk:

Wisconsin is the DRL Department of Regulations and Licensing
