How do they even get released? Is it on the MyNCEES account or do we get an email from NCBEL or NCEES?

Once the state you took the exam releases it, it shows on your NCEES account and also on your state’s board website ...for Texas you put your name, your last social 4 digits and you will see your score.

NCEES has corrected all the exams long time ago, now each state decided how to grade it, how to put the cuts, which score is a passing score...how to make us wait for fun etc etc

Does every state release it on their board website?  I was digging through Michigan's and couldn't find anything.

Do you mean that in some states you could get a passing grade where in others because of their cuts, you might fail?

I don't believe that is true.
NCEES grades the exams.

NCEES releases the results to the states.

States do not re-grade the tests (TX does some ridiculous math to make people feel superior or like failures but the equations and logic are trade secret and makes no sense to anyone else).

States can decide *not* to award licensure even with a passing test but they are not grading the test. States are not deciding the cut scores/passing scores.

Many states allow NCEES to notify you of your results. Some states take on notification themselves. Some states use another third party, like PCS, to notify you of your results.

@RBHeadge PE do I have that all right?

Thanks for the tag.

Hey guys, I don't look at the fake-results threads. if you have questions about this process, please post them in the suck thread:

States have always accepted the pass/fail result from NCEES. They could overrule it, but they never have and never will. States however may deny license to someone who passed the exam for a variety of reasons: lack of proper experience, lack of reference, didn't pay the fees, background of criminal or ethical behavior, or some other reason found in law or code.

The longest NCEES has taken during the last 5 years was 52 days... So we might still not have it today!

(Ps: No I'm not impatient to get them! Haha!)
