Took both exams for the first time last month and I'm getting anxious. Hopefully results come out this week!

Survey: felt good on ~ 30, but apparently took too long and had to completely guess on 10 or so after running out of time. Hoping for this week as well!

I took both at early of November, didn't know the results only come out around 8th every month for previous whole month, so I've been waiting for my results for almost a month now. Sooooo excruciating not less than the waiting for national exam result. I flagged 7 questions for seismic and 17 questions for survey, which are questions I answered but not sure. And the rest of the questions even though I answered with confidence, but still a few could be wrong give or take. I'm really worried about surveying. But of course, the only thing we can do is fingers crossed and wait. Good luck everyone.

I’m hoping it comes out today! I shot myself in the foot though because I’m taking surveying this month in December. So if I don’t pass both I have to take them so far apart next year because of the quarter thing.

How did you guys pass Seismic. Is doing the EET preparation good enough?

I took Hiner's review course (webinar only) and used his workbook.  Cant say enough good things about his program, which included extra content if you bought the full class set.  This included an online timed test, a pdf reference guide, and several extra webinar videos.

I did purchase the PPI set (i used PPI books to pass the PE 15 years ago), but i was really unhappy with their stuff this time.

I ended up using Hiner workbook (without videos) and bought the EET practice exams which also came with very helpful cheat sheets (which I heavily used for the exam). I'm glad I passed, but were I to redo i I'd probably go with doing the entire EET package.

I dont think you can go wrong with either Hiner or EET, but whichever a person selects, they need to do the entire package.  this is one set of tests i am glad i never have to take twice, but it took me weeks to prep for the exams (pe-15yrs ago, seismic and survey this year)
