FYI...

Effective January 2020, the California Board for Professional Engineers will begin using the 2019 California Building Code (CBC 2019) and the ASCE 7-16 as the building code and seismic load standard for the CA seismic exam.

Good luck, that exam wasn't easy!

I took my seismic class with Dr. Ahmed Ibrahim and he was great. The exam was a breeze and very similar to what he thought in his class. Also as far as I know, he is the only one who already updated his materials for the new seismic code. I strongly recommend him. Best of luck to you all.
