PE exams transitioning to CBT

As many of you know the PE exams are slowly transitioning to Computer Based Testing (CBT). The last of which is the SE exam which is to be transitioned in 2024. For additional information about this transition please click on the below link:

Once every or most PE tests are CBT, will they be similar to the FE now where you can pick a time and date to take the exam?

Got confused on the 5th paragraph if it meant April and October for P&P tests only or even for CBT.

Hello John 813. The April and October exam dates are for the paper and pencil exams. Please keep in mind that some exams are only held once a year in lieu of twice (example: Control systems). As the transition takes place to CBT for the PE this will provide much for flexibility in exam dates for most exam types.
