We currently have several engineering vacancies in support of an emerging new department responsible for governance of the Barrow site facilities, plant equipment and associated infrastructure.

To enable us to design and build submarines, we require reliable and available manufacturing assets (plant, equipment, facilities, utilities and services).

The Site Engineering department provides technical authority for all engineering activities relating to assets on the Barrow site to ensure that are designed, commissioned and maintained in line with all relevant legislation, commercial standards and regulations.

The roles will span a range of engineering disciplines, including Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, Process Engineering, Asset Management, Systems Engineering and Improvements Engineering (typically with Lean Manufacturing skills).

Whether you are hoping to work toward Chartered status, or work on high value, complex programmes whilst gaining extensive stakeholder exposure, there are fantastic career opportunities available within the team. Promotion opportunities could include development into a subject matter expert, technical leadership or engineering/project management.
