You will play a key role in our civil aerospace business by participating in a team who design, develop & maintain Control & Monitoring Units for Rolls-Royce applications and help us to ultimately create a new product line to expand Rolls-Royce.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Deliver hardware verification activities in support of a control and instrumentation electronic unit.  
  • Produce detailed strategy reports, test plans/procedures and test results reports to meet the project and verification function requirements.
  • Define and commissioning the test equipment and test setup and complete internal and customer test readiness and conformity reviews.
  • Ensure methods employed in the product verification are technically sound and appropriate for the project being undertaken and to company processes. 
  • Execute DAT / Qualification tests to plan and be the primary interface with the test facility and the verification function and project team leadership teams.
Qualifications

  • Educated to degree level in a relevant Engineering discipline or equivalent experience.  
  • Demonstrable experience in Electronics Design Assurance Testing, Formal Qualification Testing and/or Reliability Enhancement Testing on Electronic products.  
  • Specialist skills could include Vibration, Thermal, Power Supplies, Analogue Design, Digital Design or Environmental Test.  
  • Experience preferable in an aerospace or safety critical environment.
  • Able to quickly understand novel or complex tasks with some level of ambiguity and overcome problems independently or with minimal intervention.
  • Driven and accountable individual with an eye for detail and who can produce formal test documentation to a high standard.
