Generally, what's the first day the testing is administered? i'm antsy to take it asap...

The test is available the first day of the quarter that you're approved for. So if you're approved for Q4, you could take the the exam as early as October 1st assuming you received your authorization to test and had signed up for it in time.

Yes, mid-September. I'm guessing this week based on the first few months of testing.
