I was trolling the New York State 'Office of the Professionals' Website, hoping to find out why they are sooooo late getting the new PE license numbers assigned, and I found something interesting.
Apparently we can request/order (for a $30 fee) an Official New York State picture ID that would identify us in the field as a Professional Engineer :B

Does anyone have such a ID card? How about in other States? Do they offer that? Does this sound extremely egotistical (of course it does, but as you probably seen in another thread I am planning on buying the PE license plates once I get my number)?
